Came for a family night out, and it did not disappoint! Our last visit to The Melting Pot restaurant was over 15 years ago in Pasadena, CA. I remembered how much I loved the experience and at that time me & my husband had gone for a date night. So this was our kids' first time going. We loved everything we tried except for the cheese trio fondue, but that's a personal taste thing. We don't drink alcohol, and the wine in it was so strong that's all we tasted in the cheese. If you're not a drinker or don't care for wine, I would recommend asking for the wine to be substituted with broth. We love restaurants that have an interactive component, like Korean BBQ spots, so we loved this experience. It was fun watching the waiter prep the cheese fondue as well as the dessert fondue at the table. The wait staff was excellent. Impeccable service. The location is beautiful. Three floors of seating, a cute little bar area, and warm outside seating as well. We went during the Christmas season, so it was decorated with Christmas trees and lots of lights. I loved the water changing colors built into the wall, beautiful touch. There were 5 in our party and we all tried a different 3rd course and everything was delicious. So much food! It may not seem that way with the smaller plates, but no one left hungry. Highly recommend for a special night out or just a fun experience. Downstairs near the ladies' bathroom entrance, I came upon a signed photo of the soup Nazi! Had to photograph as a big Seinfeld fan as well as a soup lover it was a nice touch to end my time at the Melting Pot. Parking can be tricky. I recommend parking downtown and walking the short distance to the restaurant. Or opt for Valet.

The Melting Pot is my favorite restaurant, hands down. I have been here so many times and it never disappoints. The service is amazing and the food is always delicious. It’s a lot of food! Little pricy, but it’s worth it. They do this thing called Manic Mondays, where they randomly choose a table that is celebrating something special, (I had never heard of it before until my significant other and I won it for our anniversary!) and they comp the entire dinner! How amazing! We got a 20% off coupon since they were renovating their bar last time we came in, so we will be back to use that soon!! Very romantic spot- I love that you can add on things like flowers, teddy bears, etc. for special occasions.

This is the best date night place I have ever been to! It's great for friends, family, or dates. I took my best friend for her birthday and my brother did the same for his girlfriend and both were in shock and awe. They even have packages to make each experience unique and special when making reservations online.

I had never been to a fondue restaurant before and it’s hard to believe they get better than this!
We had the ‘experience for two’ and it was wonderful!
So much food!

The food is so good at the melting pot. For dessert I had the yin and yang chocolate fondue and since it was my birthday I got a free dipping plate. The staff are delightful. They are so nice and helpful. I also heard this place was haunted so I took some pictures and I got some weird pictures. I was kind of freaked out because my aunt is a photographer so she knows if that is light or not but she was confused. She said, " I have never seen this before." Overall, The melting pot is a great place for events and I loved it there. Definitely coming back soon.

The Melting Pot is a very romantic atmosphere. But its perfect for family fun, romantic dinners and birthday dinners. It is rather expensive, but I think its perfect for special occasions.

Zoe was our server. She was fun, kind, attentive, patient...she was GREAT! It was my wife's bday, and we were the only people in the world. We relaxed and enjoyed every moment. The food was great - perfect volume and variety. Wonderful experience!

The historical library building was cool, but there are way too many tables jammed into it. It felt very claustrophobic. I like the idea of sharing food, but we were sat at a long skinny table that made it hard to reach everything. I had to stand up and lean over to reach the other cooking pot. The fiesta cheese was bland-- the jalapenos were not spicy at all. The Wisconsin cheese sauce had better flavor. Some of the food was fresh, some tasted prepackaged. With how high the prices to eat here are, I expected it all to be fresh, so that was disappointing. As the night went on, it got very hot around our table. I know some of this is due to the historical building having poor ventilation, but also probably had something to do with how many people and tables were jammed into such a small space. The sauces for the meat were tasty. The s'mores chocolate had cool fire effects. Overall, I most likely won't be back-- just thinking about the seating area is triggering my claustrophobia a bit. 😅
