We had a lovely time at the family hangout. Lots to do for the children to keep them occupied. Complimentary food and drinks for them too. Great facilities and cafe. Free ample parking. The staff were friendly and attentive.

The venue is the only one of its kind, in Cheshire and on Merseyside and one of a handful of dedicated theatres in England, specifically ‘for, by and with’ children and young people. The space is for the young, and for anyone who was once young who wants to connect, play, dream, or imagine

Enjoyable day, pity about the early rain, didn't dampen the enthusiasm of the entertainers. First visit to Whitby Hall in over 25 years. Lovely to see a vibrant community hub

So many great events here. Love the variety and that it is affordable to attend. Great renovation work, great vibe. Only downside for us is not being able to have a cake due to allergies and I intolerances in our group, but that is common for us. Looking forward to more great events and activities in the future!

Saturday morning sausages were tiny chipolata, bacon was very very crispy (over cooked) The poached eggs were very good.. Coffee was nice. I had to wait quite a long time after my wife's toasted sandwich was delivered. I understand this is a social enterprise, but the basics "breakfast" were wrong and expensive for what was delivered. You only asked when the plates were cleared if the food was OK.... We've had better in here last summer when we visited.

Cafe is excellent, good value. Saw the performance 'Little Red' took 4 grandsons aged 4 - 15, they all enjoyed it. Atmosphere was lovely, really child friendly, staff were very welcoming. Will return.

I visited for the summer family hangout which was fantastic. The man who was coordinating the activities (didn’t get his name sorry) was fab and there was free food for the children. A brilliant idea for the local community over the summer holidays and I am so glad to see investment in kids in the area as it has been very lacking for many years . X
